People around the world will get a respect for India after we solve our glaring problems like law and order and the environment. After that they will appreciate things like yoga.

THE AUTHOR IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT WHEN HE SAYS WE NEED
OUR OWN INDIAN INSTITUTE TO PROJECT OUR OWN CULTURE.YOGA DAY IS A GOOD BEGINNING IN THIS ENDEVOUR.
UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE MANY FELLOW NATIONALS WHO ARE DETERMINED STOP SUCH KIND OF EFFORT WITH THEIR MISSION IS TO PROTECT WESTERN INTERESTS IN THE NAME OF SECULARISM.

our english news channels like times now and india today take delight in demolishing what ever pride indian people have in their country and their leaders. these english channels do not give any good overage of the good work being done but are always carping and hate mongering. we need to be rid of these channels.

By advocating Yoga, noone is spreading a particular sect. But offcourse everyone is free to follow what they want. By the way, Almighty does not require our protection rather we require his. In general also, one need not protect him by rejecting others' view. Lets participate in Yoga diwas whole heartedly. It is about building our identity and showcasing India's culture to outside world. Yoga is a medicine for our body and our soul.

so much of hatred, so much of intolerance and confusion. You justify why Yoga is needed. we need food but we also need health, we also need spriitual growth, love .. and also house, science. we need lot many things though in different proportion. same way Yoga is needed

If Yoga is good ,they would automatically adopt..like some foods are good for health, and yet many do not consume..similarly if Yoga is good for health, let the individuals decide..why clamp these on the peolep in a Democartic Set up.also the pro-Hindu stance need tom be withdrwan from Yoga ,let this be an Exercise kind stuff and not any religious tint be imparted...Thanks.

somewhere I read ...
Indian pilot fazal shah says " If you go up from where i am and look from the sky down, you dont see borders, you dont see religions, you dont see nationalities, you just see one groyp of people". Yoga is in the service of mankind.

Thanks for alerting us that some foods are good for health but they are not actually good. I agree with you that all should eat KFC and McDonalds because people have adopted it. Excellent advice Azad.
