It is well known that Islam came to Kerala through Arab traders. This article tells us that the same thing happened in TN. It is ridiculous to suggest that the same article should give details of Nadir Shah, Tipu's atrocities, etc.
Talk about Nadir Shah, babar, humayun in the north ND TALK about tipusultan, hyderali, the bahamani mooslem rulers..who were responsible for forced conversions....just becuae you came from a village you cannot rubbish..history....get your facts well researched before writing..make fils no problem but do not mix up

Hi Shyamsunder, please do get your facts right, especially when you speak about the Tiger of Mysore who was and shall always remain one of the leading lights when it comes to religious tolerance, in fact if you go to place like Srirangapatna near Mysore, the priests at the temple will tell you about how Tipu Sulthan never started his day without offering his prayers to Ranganathaswamy.

we indians really dont know our real history. its due to vested interests of politicians that they forged history into the books. i wish real history of india is revealed. if a ruler is tyrant then it must mention him same while if the ruler is good administrator and fighter he must be shown the same. no political agenda in history. our text books have forged history. so is the internet. some say tipu sultan was a tyrant while others say he was a real tiger who fought british. whom to believe then as i was not born in those times. distorted history never leads to a super nation.
