It is nothing but natural that during elections almost all the major political parties take donations from corporate, industries, individuals and so on. So when voted to power the govt is bound to help such people. This will continue till such time the donations to political parties are banned, and only state fund the political parties. Since BJP is just the other side of the same coin that of Congress, the only remedy now left is to bring AAP to national level to make such a crucial law to save Indian democracy. It will surely happen in another 10 years, till that time Indians have to suffer. It is ironical that if one takes donation during elections are they not to give it back after coming to power. Lalit Modi is a most known money launderer , why the govt show sympathy on him. Then why not allow Dawood to travel as he likes.

The whole anti Modi biased media has gone crazy. They are covering it as if Shushma has committed murder. On humanitarian grounds, she recommended to the UK govt that, subject to their rules and regulations, they may consider helping Lalit get the travel documents. Lalit may be a fugitive but he is already in UK. He had to go to Portugal for the operation of his cancer stricken wife and Shushma on humanitarian grounds helped him. What is wrong in it? Morally she has done the right thing.
It is idiotic of the Congress to question her if she would help Dawood? Congress's love for terrorists and those from minority is well known. Congress is bankrupt of ideas under the leadership of the Clown Prince. The biased Media is unhappy because Modi doesn't care for these fellows nor takes them in his plane when travelling abroad. BJP should ignore these guys and get on with the governance.

Whoever does a wrong doing, whether it affects another person, the society or the nation, it is a wrong doing.. call a spade a spade and do not try to defend anybody or compare it with others and justify your actions... then what for the people of india sought a change and brought BJP into power.. when the people of India thought that UPA was lacking, it brought BJP... and by repeating same mistakes as that of Cong and then trying to justify your actions and comparing it with that of others is not at all helpful to the nation.. just remember that
I'm sure many people in MEA knew about Shushma Swaraj's "help" to Lalit Modi and by default Narendra Modi was in the loop. Leaking this info gives Narendra Modi a handle over Shushma Swaraj who is otherwise "a fly in the ointment" for him.
The real story is not "why Shushma helped Lalit Modi"! The real story is "who gained by leaking this information"! Of course, leaking it to British press makes it appears as a "britisher's" job.
Was Lalit Modi in politics earlier ? On humanitarian grounds how many visas and documents are delivered to a common man by any Govt ? First of all how she can do it to man in controversy ? I have got an opinion that usually politicians are very careful in such matters. But still sushmajee did some adjustment using her authority means grafting. Since she did it on humanitarian grounds, now she has to resign on morality ground.So that wrong people with the help of politicians whould not escape the wrath.

I have highest regard for Shushma Swaraj. She is much better than Amit Shah and Modi who are nothing but crooks. BUT you are right. She made a mistake. A small mistake but mistake nonetheless.
Maybe, she is paying the price for opposing Modi as PM! Who knows?

Sushma Swaraj has done right - for the woman who was undergoing a cancer treatment -- may need her husbands support at the time of operations and medical treatment .NOT giving permission to Mr LALIT would have been an in justice to his wife secondly - IF Mr Lalit is accused of corruption and proved guilty then he had to be in jail instead of in UK / - In that case why doesn't the indian govt Call him back and arrest -- HOWEVER THIS DOESNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING WITH MODI TRAVELLING FOR HIS WIFES TREATMENT -- .
Even convicted criminals for heinous crimes get parrol,leave to attend family affairs.Hence in this case Mrs Swaraj has done right thing.Also we all know that Mr Lalit Modi was to be made scape goat and hence was driven out of the country so that more beans are not spilled.Why we waste time in the jugglery of the politicians.

Those who really want to see the nation to progress, should not be biased. If she has done something unethical, it certainly is against the interest of the nation. We have seen how she used to scream even on petty issues while in opposition (and was it her desperate need for power) and when got power, she is also misusing it. This proves that there is no difference when any political party is compared. This also proves that many of the so called loyal party workers first priority is not nation, but something else
