I wonder what the graph would look like if we take the above figures as percentage of population. Equally interesting would be to see the graph of crimes committed, road accidents, etc. plotted as percentages of population.

It is not important must be forest. Important is water should be irrigation all area most important and govt not interested on the ground work
If the Govt. start ground work than all problem should be resolved

Neither the Government nor the Common Man is interested in Preserving Trees for Future generations.

Blogs, discussions and meetings cannot save the depleting forests or wildlife.

I agree but in my view we should give more time to Modi.The suitcase ki sarkar has ruined our nation so much that it will take even Modi to neutralise it.
Our standard of living is much higher than it was 50 yrs ago but still below par

We were much lower to 100 crore now 125, as such no comparison. Main cause of all such calamities is poverty, no politician want to take up the issue of population control with poor, rather want to use them as vote bank including Modi now.
