Beautiful interview.Hats off to Manobi for the challenges faced and the way she handled. There is no "manabikata" in this ruthless world but Manobi has shown that at least one ,the great Lord who has "manabikata".Lastly her son's name will continue to inspire all for decades "After Deba shifted into my house, he gave up his birth name and rechristened himself Debasish Manobiputro..." Thx
we all know that every living creature is born by the same biological phenomena & nobody is born with his choice of sexual determination whether male or female & if anything goes wrong during the process of fetus development.then its whose fault? why society punish the victim?the poor Transgender

never hated people who were different than me.to me the worst people are those who are cruel and narrow minded... we accept variety in animals , plants but we cant accept variety in people...thats bad
I and few of my colleagues met her while travelling in train, she to her working place at Jhargram & we to our working place at Tatanagar. We used to admire her struggle and the grace with which she used to handle the not-so comfortable environment. Feel happy & proud that Manobi has been able to achieve and taught us the excellence in humanity.Best wishes for the years to come.
Transgenders have an image issue just because of the way a few of them behave, extorting money from young boys and taunting gullible ones. If they can be disciplined, why on earth anyone would hate Transgenders as a whole

I agree with u. But this is only because they were following the footsteps of their previous gen. I wonder why cant there be drive to make them worthy of govt/other jobs and change their way of living.
