Celebrate and pay homage
by Kadangode chidambaram on Nov 11, 2018 11:14 AM

We Indians all over the world should identify a day in a year to Celebrate and Pay Homage to all warriors who laid their lives. This year specially being Centenary year after First world war. Exhibitions should be held and seminars etc should also be organized at all levels, schools, colleges, universities to educate the young generations about the glorious past of India in order to see a great future.

Sacrifices
by arungopal agarwal on Jun 01, 2015 06:20 PM  | Hide replies

Maximum sacrifice were done by Fighter Communities in India, majority of them were Kisans, they are ignored, due to political reasons, only Govt. provided reservation to dalits but it has also become the vote bank, more and more castes are added in stead of taking correction by way of deleting or putting ban on the children of those who are paying Income Tax. Will Modi take a note of this dis-parity.

see its modi who has highlighted the issue with the west. the west only care about their country's people. but the funny thing its wasn't the Indians who were the biggest force out of any other outside country and yet we are not mentioned by the British or French or Germans when they celebrate V day this is where Indian government needs to make the point clear that if it was not for the sacrifice of the Indians they would have never won simple

Britishers
by Ajit Kamble on Jun 01, 2015 01:48 PM  | Hide replies

Britishers knew very well how to exploit local people under their occupation for their own benefit. Unfortunately, very few Indians had the willingness and courage to challenge their agenda. Even those fearless Indians who challenged them have been sidelined today, partly by Congress Party and rest of it by chchaddee gang, to further their own agendas.

I was expecting stories of their heroics in this post, instead Santanu's email replies only boasts of the after-effects of war, not ANYTHING exemplifying the valour they showed: just as the Britishers classified Bengalies: truly effiminate.

What a conclusion from somebody who hides behind the 'unknown' tag! It's quite clear that no such records of bravery by the
Indians exist so far. After all, that is the gist of the article, if you were paying attention.

Shyamaprasad was a re1igi0us b1g0t. Writing his name along with the names of great patriots like Bhagat Singh and Netaji is a great insu1t to those personalities.
