Sir,you are absolutely right about the noise pollution during ganpati/navaratri festivals and also the traffic congestion becasue of covering of foot paths. Strict measures should be taken to reduce the menance and enjoy the biggest festival of mumbai.
It is we the hindus who allow politics to creep into our daily lives. It is we who do not oppose this nuisance and cultural erosion. We are to be blamed for it.
Education required to organizer of the festivals event. Dance on devotional songs and thoughts may allow as per time table for One or two Hr. Competition between loud speaker in Pandals is not good. Songs always ply devotionals and patriotism.
