Mr Menon has rightly pointed out that spade work had been done in 2012 but final 'needed' to be given. I object to the term 'Security Adviser'. We had borrowed it from USA.On ground he is a 'super foreign secretary'. Most of persons who had held this job were fron MEA (FOREIGN).Why? A person who has served MEA for 36 yrs is not going to come up with new or land marl new ideas, hence state of static mass in developments. Such eminent persons should be made Governers instead of dead woodlike MP and Raj governers. They will remain available for consultations, while new young blood in the MEA will try and prove themselves. His appointment is as hazardous as an army general appoinr def adviser after retiring from service or made def minister. In US all def secy's had a look at the armed force in their young days but they were not career soldiers because "they will start interfering in the day to day running of armed forces.Constitution prohibits appt of a retd general as def secy for 10 years after retiring. So it should be for foreign secys.
Like India China dosen`t have a 5 year government!! Nor does its political leadership concerned about loosing their seat and thus playing media drama!!! They are not a democracy which is a negative point for their people but having a one ruling party system they have a focus on their country policies!!!
India has a problem because there is always fight for power and having so many parties who want a piece and role in governing India the policies adopted are more concerned with the party image that will portray in the general public irrespective if that policy is a blunder but it should be appeasement of the party vote bank!!!
Where china takes a long term decision and is focused on that for years, in India that changes with the government in every 5 years!!
It is for the India public to become more learned and focus on long term perspective of any government and not focus on small incentives and vote collectively for the right goverment, which will not only change the political scenario but also bring in necessary reforms in the political party thinking!!

The Chinese system has caused disasters as well, like the Cultural Revolution. Arun Shourie mentioned that they have suppressed news of several famines. Democracy is there in other countries too, not only in India!

Modi has not only been the weakest PM of independent India, he also beat Manmohan Singh into turning Maun. MM took 14 years to become Maun, Modi took just one year. He killed millions of Indians through an artificial famine created by a simple signature that diverted foodgrain grown in India to feed the Brit soldiers. He always believed that Brits, even the soldiers, were superior to Indians at any level. As an aside, he is reported to have marked in the margin of that legislation ... 'But why doesn't Gandhi die'? Nowadays entire BJP is busy giving clean chits to one another for their scams and wrong doing. Latest clean chit given by aviation minister to Rajiviji and Fadnavis. Earlier Jaitly gave clean chit to Sushma, Modi [Narendra] and Rajnath gave clean chit to Raje [not Raja], Sumit Patra gave clean chit to Pankaja Munde, Jaitley gave clean chit to Dushyant Singh. Amit Shah gave clean chit to Tawde. RSS gave clean chit to Chauhan of CM of MP. So many clean cheaters and country is going to dogs While Maunendra Modi is advising poor to take selfies in lieu of earning to eat.

We feel M. Lad is right in his thinking ... Why or who are we to rebut him. Modi has always been playing Jugad or Jhumla with the nation from day one. Where is Black Money 15 lacs in Indians SB a/c. Now another Jhumla that it will take 25yrs to built India properly like Gujarat and now we all know what is in Gujarat?? all Jugaad or Jumlas?? Which means he wants to make a nest in Delhi permanently alongside Amit Shah. He did not appoint proper head of Dept for coruption. HRD minister etc have false degrees.
