modi's blunder
by Mishra Prakash on Jul 18, 2015 10:21 PM

I fail to understand why he is extending olive branch to Pak. India should at least arrest the kashmiris including separatists leaders like Geelani and all others who show Pak and ISIS flags and shout anti-India slogans. INdian Govt should take a cue from the Britishers who sent the treaitors to Cellular jail in Andamans. You do it and the Kashmir mess will be all over within one month. Liberty does not mean miuse of it. THey are traitors and deserve no mercy.

Dialogue with Pakistan
by on Jul 16, 2015 10:26 AM

We have not been vocal on our protest whenever there is an attack on the LOC. Pakistan, even if they are at fault, always make a hue and cry and blame us for the attack. Is it being diplomatic? What diplomacy? Trying to be good with everyone. This will not work. We have to learn from Israel. You start being vocal and aggressive. Our soft approach in the name of Diplomacy will not work. We have to decisive and agressive. Unless we start being a bully for a bully, things will not work and no resolution on K issue.

Good article

The article makes several pertinent points.

Perhaps the reasons are also explained in the article only. The logicis as follows-

1. We all know Nawaz Sharif is just a mask and the real power is wielded by Army/ISI nexus. Perhaps that is why NSA is also getting involved (an unusal occurence) in Pakistan talks.

2. Indian PM attending SAARC summit is Pakistan- is it that big an issue? One supposes not. It is not a concession and even if it somehow is, its only a minor one that looks big.

3. The Indian reaction, that Pak has not taken a turn, let alone a u-turn, clearly indicated they dont take the Pakistani rhetorics seriously enough.

4. If Pakistan manages to become active in the region it is located in, there is nothing much that India can do. Under Modi, Indian has belated tried to establish good ties with the central asian countries (One wonders what the previous governments were doing all along). India is well behind as far as global politics and that is one of the reasons Modi is forced to travel frantically

NO CRICKET OR PM'S VISIT TO PAK TILL 'K' IS RESOLVED-II
by damodaran mohan on Jul 14, 2015 04:51 PM  | Hide replies

When will India understand that Pakistan will never act against likes of of Hafeez Sayeed and Lakhvis for the simple reason that their involvement in 26/11 were on behalf of Pakistani state ! How can India be so foolish as to expect Pak to act against them ? It is time for India to realize that on Pak sponsored terror it should stop talking to that country and devising its own strategy including direct action and as also the one on the lines the defense minister hinted. India has to give Pak the taste of its own medicine. Only Indira Gandhi acted courageously and gave the treatment it deserved. India expected some similar tough stand from a strong and decisive leader like Modi but surprisingly he has been just following his predecessor NDA and UPA govts line in somewhat confused fashion. Pleading with Pak to act on terror will only be counterproductive which Pak is using to get respectability seeming to normalize relations through cricket diplomacy etc. although in the heart it wants to keep the K-pot boiling for ever w/o resolving it which is bread and butter for Pak army. India should not fall for it. Modi should not visit Pak till ‘K is resolved and peace is established between the two countries.MMS at least kept his words not visiting Pak till end. Thus India must talk to Pak only on one issue—Kashmir. Any other talks are not worth as all that they can give is ‘religious bigotry’, nothing else. India’s position on K is already m

(contd.)..India’s position on K is already made well known. Let them come up with suitable solutions that could be acceptable to India. Till that happens some limited people to people contact with free movement of relatives etc. across could be allowed and put all other inter-country relations on culture, cricket, hockey, vip movements….on hold until K is resolved.

TACKLE PAK TERROR BY SELF THAN DEPEND ON TALKS---I
by damodaran mohan on Jul 14, 2015 04:41 PM  | Hide replies

The author has put things in right perspective that instead of isolating Pakistan as BJP would demand while in opposition Modi govt. has only succeeded in elevating stature of Pak with even Russia joining American and Chinese bandwagon in support of Pak isolating India instead! Pak army is very cleverly using their democratic govt. to keep India engaged for the time being even as they are busy cleaning up home grown terror like Taliban and others while making the Let,l jaish etc lie low. Simultaneously ISI is working on developing indigenous young terror outfits inside J&K,India. Once they are through substantially with their anti-terror operation inside their country thereafter they will divert attention back to India and begin to put the clock back in J&K. That is why there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to hold another summit level meet with a PM who neither intends nor has the power to fulfill promises made umpteen no .of times with the earlier govts. The wording of the joint statement dragging India into action on terror and 26/11 is unacceptable. The BJP in opposition were critical of MMS for similar reason ! Another U-turn. The Modi govt. has not only been very inconsistent while dealing with Pak but the BJP has also made a complete U-turn of its stand while in opposition when UPA was being accused of going soft. BJP claiming sort of victory at Ufa talks is simply laughable and the so called ‘voice’ sample issue is a joke. Pak is backing ou

U-turn by Pakistan

Even before he return from his six nation tour, Pakistan made a U-turn. Kudos to our PM for his sustained and continued efforts to woo Pakistan. When will PM Modi visit India?

Modi's change of heart or quiet diplomacy? It has exposed the real intention of Pakistan and the untrustworthiness of Nawaz Sharif once again! Well done, Modiji, for doing this!! Now, please prevent the invitation extended to separatists by the Pak high commissioner for meeting in the 3rd week of July. Declare the separatists as antinational and traitors. Tell Pakistan high commissioner that any such meeting will be considered anti India activity and he should be recalled by the Paki government.

Yes; u r absolutely right. Henceforth Mr. Modi must consult and take permission from all these experts before he undertakes and declaration; after all these are the real experts who have been turning India into a world beater in every field in all these years.

change of heart of Pakistan!
by on Jul 14, 2015 07:48 AM  | Hide replies

We have to learn from fanatics how to translate Non- issue to nonsense issue viz., Kashmir! When Our PM has demonstrated benefits for both nations during the Bangladesh summit why do we think that we are still in western slavery mentality! The day will come when China or Western world will realise what is fanatics and who controls in Pakistan and how deep routed they are! We Indian propagate peace and harmony to save the Biosphere and not violence of killing innocents.
