It is sad that such article is written without forethought... All superstar do ell in films only.....they dislike roles, responsibilities, functions and hardwork. Finally there is no money spinner work..... Both these superstars have their own peculiar priorities....A CM post of TN state offered by PM Narsihma Rao was refused by Rajnikant....All also know how Amitabah Bacchaan messed up joining politics........Simply asking them to do something impossible ...of running Film Institute will truly out their real true colors of laziness, incompetence, ignorance,clumsiness and of-course their poor level of education and upbringing particularly in case of rajnikant.
Chairman & members of FTII board should be such that they have minimum basic qualifications and can devote their full time to institute. Gajendra may be appropriate choice then, being appointed he deserves his chance now. Celebrities and top notch personalities have prior committed time schedules and travel all over the globe. Students of FTII should complete their studies in time (many have not completed since 2008) and also pay thier fees as it is govt. run institute (runs from tax payers money)!
Why media is created negative atmosphere in the country over a pity issue of FTII director. Where were this media when FTII students lost three years because of Strike at FTII decade ago.
Who suggested Amitabh and Rajanikant's name in this, witer of this column is trying to create unnecassary negative ambience. Amitabh and Rajanikant has no time for FTII even if Govt Appoint them. Please stop negative reporting that too by the name of media reports, write the names of Source.
