I salute Capt. Vikram Batra for the sacrifices he made. He is a glowing example of the soldiers we have in Indian Army. Reading this article brought a tear to my eyes but at the same time I am proud to be born in a country that has given birth to brave souls like him.

thank u rediff for sharing the story. its the irony of india that we have series of movies for underworld dons like dawood and others but when it comes to war heroes there are very few movies. i think indians should demand to govt to make movies or biopic of war heroes. if we only make movies on underworld dons then some people will go out and try to make a career in it seeing the rosy depiction of dons in our hindi movies. but if they movies of our war heroes then they will get inspired to join indian army and the moral of our soldiers would get lifted. i request all readers to stop watching movies on dons and ask people to start watching indian heroes movies cause its because of them that we guys can sleep in our home safely otherwise our politicians have no concern for our safety. ONCE AGAIN SALUTE TO INDIAN ARMY AND THE BRAVERY OF INDIAN SOLDIERS. today i even salute rediff for bringing up such important article.
After having read about Capt Vikram Batra, i have tears in my eyes, i want to salute this brave soldier who gave his life fighting for the country, Capt Vikram Batra you will always live in our Hearts. RIP.

I have seen live on TV in those days when Capt Vikram Batra was speaking again and again-YEH DIL MANGE MORE!
for his bravery and courageous efforts on his part to defend India against the treacherous enemy.He would always be remembered as a 'gallant warrior' in the country. we all feel indebted to him for his Sacrifice for the motherland. He proved true to Himachal traditions of gallantry in Wars.
