About AAP and Kejriwal
by Malay Barua on Jan 31, 2015 12:00 PM

Politics should be left out for politician. Amateurism in politics or governance will be disastrous. AK can attract people, mainly with false promise, but he can not govern the state like Delhi, which is very unique in nature( with Center controlling its three wings, like DDA, DP and DTC)
Delhi needs a central Govt. friendly govt. with absolute majority.
The need of the hour for Delihite is to vote for BJP or at least to Congress.

Sir,please spare us from daily dose of Kejri Bhajans, praising kejriwal is akin to the famous scene of the movie Sholay wherein Amitabh praises Dharam to mausi inspite of huge deficiency.

This article has chronologically relevant information. I wish this article came few weeks back. If Kejriwal becomes CM somehow, he who will ruin Delhi's future beyond repair. No new investment or no infrastructural projects... Delhi will e severely left behind..

Promise of dawn is there but not that of Development ...
by Sudip Bhattacharya on Jan 31, 2015 11:36 AM  | Hide replies

Kejriwal is a fresh air, a distinct brand of politicking that must be welcomed. Many things that he does is the part of that different brand that reveals itself differently. If his activities has extracted so much against him from his competitors bears testimony to the fact that he is 'happening'.

Whether his style will work in India is debatable. But some aspects should be left in the hands of time.

One thing that India dislikes is the coterie culture and dictatorship. After reading this article, my distaste for the Kejriwal's brand of politics just increased manifold. I hope this article came few weeks back.

Kejrival ..enemies
by RCSastry on Jan 31, 2015 11:36 AM

Kejrival is Delhi version of Lallu, in many ways; both play cheap politics. Both are opportunistic. Both have little respect for dissent. Both have little respect for Institutions. Both, are assessed by media,as popular. Both live in style, use all luxuries and yet swear by Aam Admi. Both HATE the real Aam Admi PM, Narendra Modi. Both enjoy media indulgence. Both have pockets of captive audience . Mera Bharat Mahan.

Intentions..
by Rohit ezhuthachan on Jan 31, 2015 11:30 AM

While the intentions of "Double A party" are very good and sincere, the hurry which they make are spoiling the whole good intentions. Hurry makes worry. The haste of Lok Pal also made the whole elections waste. Haste makes waste.
No corruptions is a good intention. While Delhi Police is infamous for accepting even ten rupees as bribe, it has to be seen how AK will overcome these cheap scroundals.

AAP

The problem that most people find with Kejriwal seems to be that he abandoned the Delhi rule in 49 days.
But he is not to be blamed for that as he was let down by the Congress. The real problem seems to be that all his decisions seemed to be ad-hoc and does not come through as a sincere mature person who can run a Government. There are many sincere people like Yogendra Yadav in the AAP, but the out-fit seems shaky.

Re: AAP
by Devdutt Sen on Jan 31, 2015 11:22 AM
Absolutely correct. The decision to quit after 49 days was the only mature decision he took.
His other decisions like reducing power tariff or water bills were useless. He would have had to either reverse it or increase taxes, to get that amount. Both mean the same.
Corruption doesnt go away by hounding some officers, it needs a more top down approach, which is started now.
He runs a schoolboy outfit, which can cause chaos, not guide a state to better days
Delhi needs a mature head and a clear vision in the people who will collectively run it. AAP is an antithesis to that
