Lt. Bella Devi pulled down the rope, even before President could lay his hands on it, to unfurl the flag. President was still approaching the mast and the flag was already unfurled.
I don't know, how many noticed it, but the nerves could have been nailed away with proper training..
I convey my heartiest New Year's Salute to our Women Army Officers. Also I pay my great respect and salute to the whole army wings of the nation. I am indebted to them for ever.

Almost..but many men are really good at heart, and are very helpful and considerate towards women..because I had many such lovely occasions..thank you to all those nice guys out there!
And with men, the priority gets divided when womens accompany them at battle fronts, fact is in combat situation they will only make your team more vulnerable..that is a fact! they are better when kept in defence offices, medicals and domestic duties like riots, security, natural calamities etcetra.

From where you got this figure of 95% failure in combat situation ? Are you from Army ? For your information; women in Indian Army are never given combat duties as yet. But army women in some other countries have been successfully deployed in combat situations. Soon Indian women well follow their example and I am sure they will succeed. Also please understand that, Indian Army is a very huge establishment needing variety of people and variety of skills. Only small fraction of Army Establishment is engaged in active combat. Majority from Armed Forces are never exposed to combat situations.

@Vijay, more capable men should join ARMY, we must tap them first, enough of women appeasement, what these politicians are trying to prove? I respect womens but I do know their limitations as well, and no one should dare to close their eyes on this when you think of your country first! Recruit them but for the jobs which are best done by them!
