It reminds me of a genious & aptly drawn cartoon drawn on new years day in the backdrop of Cement & Indira trust scandal of A.R.Antulay then Maharashtra CM.The cartoon showeed then CM writing greeting quote" Let us cement all our differences & build future on trust"Can we imagine any other Cartoonist who can come up with such hard hitting stuff & at the same time made to look like a joke.May the departed soul rest In piece for providing the common man an oppurtunity to laugh at the fallacy of of our politicians who provided fodder to his fertile imagination

Intellect combined with extra ordinary articulation through a very easy to understand medium. Such talent is becoming very rare these days. I am sure his works can still inspire a few.... Rest In Peace Sir. Respects.

What an irony that we lost the "common man" on the Republic DAy. With the demise of Genius RKL, humour has lost its sheen ...has gone into oblivion.

R.I.P. RK Laxman.
I grew up watching his first thing everyday in TOI.
At first, when i was a kid, i didn't get his cartoons because they were politically related, but later on, i appreciated his sarcasm on the state of politics in our country.
Thanks for starting my days with a laugh.

My heartiest regards to the humble but "not slave" personality who is known for his dedication in his profession.... but for me it is an eye full of tears moment that we lost a "jewel" as an elder or an master in profession of cartoonist a human being as matter different to various variety. We are fan of his cartoons, but some where i miss his real face a photograph in a mile long article in his praise force to feels me it is injustice for him and crores of viewers and fans .Doesn't matter he died over an above average age of 94 years in comparison to a common man's life in todays's life cycle.

A nice photograph on the article hooding could make him alive in fan's hearts forever and ever and ever not even this it will regenerate a motivation to infinity people by looking at his face that will never gonna die in thoughts....
