land acquisition
by jignesh narayan parmar on Feb 24, 2015 08:24 PM

The govt is not a fool to grab the land of any one -- the law is 70 % villagers should agree for such acquition then in that case Compensation will be given to the farmer and land will be taken even though he does not agree / Main issue is why will 70 % villagers agree for land acquisition . This will happen if it is in the intrest of the villagers only -- and approved by village as a whole -- As the law is one needs to sacrifice something if it is intrest of large mass of people . THE govt is not a fool to grab the land of any one or without considering the agricultural importance of the land .

Take hypothetical example. About 75 large mfg compnies of the world have accepted to spend with immediate effect 10000 billion dollars to establish 100 mfg units and buld some big infra projects provided they are shown suitable land sufficient for all these projects. Then how UPA or AAP or Any other will show them sufficient land and give the benefits of such huge opportunity to we the people. If not what will be commensurate big thing that these land bill opposers do? But one thing is a fact that land is scarcest commodity and for farmers it is much more limited. Who solves this problem of 125 crore population devided between 75 crore farmers and rest livlihood employment seekers.

Why this oldi is not dare enough to agitate for population control or for one child norm-root cause of all problems. Land is required only where people live in abundance, whereas cultivated land can be developed at places which are barren with water supply etc., as such land is needed for infrastructure development, housing and industry. We want to see any NGO or Anna or Medha to agitate for basic cause not to create fuss and hindrance.

Why do you criticise a minister? Poor fellow! He is a part of the honest prime minister's Narendra Modi's ordinance factory. The PM is so honest that his clean chit factory works round the clock, as it used to do in Gujarat where Rs 17,000 crore land scam never came to light. Keep it up! Friends, you find many such factories soon. What the Congress did in 60 years has been done away with in seven months. Vote for Nodi Sarkar which does not speak of price rise.

Land acquisition is necessary!
by Grizzly on Jan 16, 2015 04:11 PM  | Hide replies

Land acquisition has been happening all along the history of India! What is new?

Cities grow by developing land along the boundaries and building new areas and colonies.

So why is media making such a big deal out of this?

Curse! Read properly. Know more. Don't behave like illiterate people. The present land acquisition act belongs to the Land Acquisition Act 1984 of the British era. It's a draconian rule that a government whose old leaders had supported the British passed in the form of ordinance. In fact, the ordinance factory has passed 11 such acts in seven months. NaMo has turned out to be the weakest prime minister of the country, who does not was to face Parliament where debates are held. He is rather a tweet-tweet prime minister.
