as per Islam women should retain their first name & family name ,even after the marriage. “Live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.” (Quran: An-Nisaa 19).There are lot of rights mentioned in Quran for women. Because of this the law is more soft towards the women. Also the men respect very much for the good women. They don’t need to stand in a queue (be it anywhere). Now back to the point, the driving is banned because 99% of the ladies they don’t know. They have never been in the driving seat. There is no driving school for the ladies. Most of the ladies are homemaker & a recent survey conducted by the office of HR administration, received a reply from the ladies,1)what is the reason that we should drive (hospital, shopping –my husband or my brothers can take me).if I don’t have both ,I can go by taxi. Also they their house drivers for taking them to the jobs. Just driving alone for no reason ,is an attempt by the devil to follow the wrong tracks. Ladies can travel alone. They have no restrictions. Dear author, I feel pity for you, for writing such a wrong information. Looks like you are a hatemonger ,who just want to blame for anything. Let Allah forgive you for giving wrong information to the readers & spreading hatred. I request you learn your religion deeply.no religions spreads hatred. Only peopl

All guys have been born with driving skills? Why such a pathetic defence? Even if the religion has said cars are to be banned, u would have defended that saying they cause accidents and pollution. And thats the problem with Faith, whatever it may be.

The witness of a women in Sharia is only 25%. so what u said is lies and blatant lies to deceive and fool people in the West and non-muslims in particular...in most cases the plight of women in i-slamic lands is horrible and sad..when compared to others..

My dear author. When you are spreading lies, spread like it can be believed. I see you are not that professional in telling lies, like other medias. Whatever you said above is utter nonsense. I’m staying in Saudi Arabia for the last 12 years. Can you tell me when was the last time you visited Saudi Arabia. Please don’t lie when you don’t know anything. Saudi Arabia has the least crime in the world due to its Islamic laws.
You can keep pets. It’s free .there are shops selling cats. But dogs are not kept as pet because its haram (saliva of dogs often contains microscopic worms) but you can keep dogs for such as hunting, guarding livestock and protecting crops.).Snowmen-from the above image it’s clear that they are worshipping or loving it ,this is haraam. And BTW why you need to make a snowman, make anything else with the snow (any other shape like pyramid, ball, square. Movie theatres- nobody goes to Dubai /Bahrain to watch movies. This is the biggest joke of the year. Yes its rite that public movie theatres are banned, but you get all the movies rite on your television kit. You can listen to the music in public.you can find virgin stores in many locations. Nothing red is banned. Yes valentine day is banned (It has to be banned).Red roses are available everywhere. Yes women driving is banned. There is reason for that.as per Islam women has equal power and status like men. They have equal rights in property matters.

Yes! Whatever you have told is absolutely right. The article is misleading. Although some parts of the article is correct to some extend, the laws are not at all anti women.
