It is man made. The earth can produce enough food but man's greed is the main reason. 1% of the population owns half of world's wealth at the expense of billions of the poor. One district in the combined A.P. can feed the entire state for one whole year with its rice production and rice still sells at 50 a kg. some tines.
No surprise: 'in terms of absolute numbers of undernourished people in the country, India and China are at the top of the list'. India, under Modi government is set to be a no-holds-barred honeycomb for business tycoons; an obstacle course for Indian consumers. Not that such a policy was not already being followed ever since Rajiv Gandhi opened the floodgates of liberalization (without putting in place any checks and balances for protection of consumers), but considering Modi’s vote-changing speech accused the Sonia Gandhi government of treating India like a honeycomb while he considered the country to be ‘Bharat Mata’, one expected the present PMO to protect Bharat Mata and Indian consumers against greedy business tycoons and their nexuses that have long been embezzling the country and its people. That’s what accounts for India repeatedly topping the list of starving populations.

Pune is great violation of article 335 equality for all in public places the NGO must file FIR for boy insult as he was not begging but the wooman was to pay for his cold drinks so Pune police must file FIR
Some one has cleverly positioned INDIA by selecting percentage to total population. If you make it in absolute numbers no one nation will be nearer to us
