What the coast guard has done is right. Thanks to our defence minster for standing by them. No smuggler or ordinary men will set fire to the boat they are traveling. it is hard core terrorists only who can do this. It is high time that every one stop writing un necessarily on this

it seems rediff and congress will tell the enemy all the secrets
by surya prakash malluru on Jan 05, 2015 11:20 PM

It looks like rediff and congress are going tell Pakistan all the secrets of Indian cost guard operations. Why cant the keep quite? Media should not treat every news a sensational. They should be little sensitive toward some national security issues.

Problem is India has sunk a fishing boat from Terroristan
by Parika Gupta on Jan 05, 2015 11:15 PM  | Hide replies

...And always missed a genuine terror laden boat, thanks to our poor intelligence network.

So, to escape being challenged in an international court, all the sold out media is trying to pass it off a genuine terror ship blasting.

Samjhe kya?

THIS IS ONLY GOING TO INCREASE!!!

The terrorists on the western border of Pakistan are stifled. They are prepared only for carrying out destruction and if they are going to be shot down by Pak Army... The better resolution would be for them to be moved to Eastern Territory and disrupt India - apparently that works in favor of both of them Pak Army and terrorists.

All this implies that India needs much more vigilance along the border and in the sea. Keep it up folks (stop them from entering India) and see Pak militants self-destroy.

No need to disclose so many details
by crazedcat on Jan 05, 2015 08:09 PM  | Hide replies

The paki def minister's frothing is to make ours go into a defensive stance and start blurting out details of our capabilities. There is no need at all to reveal what NTRO, coast guard and navy are capable of. A suspected boat was sunk, end of story. Pakis and congressis should be completely ignored. Defence of country is paramount. I don't see any need for explanations or apologies or defensiveness at all. I as a citizen certainly don't expect it.

Crazedcat, Very well said. There is no need for our DE to explain matters of national defence and security to one and all. Suffice to state that our navy/armed forces have done a great job, and hats off to them.

The explaining was necessiated because the grand old party of the country is taking sides with the terror groups and questioning our own coast guard..can you imagine such a thing happening in pakistan or China..this is our democracy and the attitude of political class
