I have written it several times and I do hope one day both the state govt. as well as the Central Govt. will pay attention on the same. When Modiji was not PM of India he has said somewhere during his interview that he has suggested PM Manmohan Singh to cover up the whole stretch of India Gandhi Canal with Solar Panels. PM Manmohan liked Modiji's idea but could not implement it. Now Modiji is the PM and Rajasthan too has a BJP Govt. and so I do not see any hurdle for this dream to come true. The other major initiative with which the Rajasthan Govt. can increase its earning is that they will allow their people specially living in villages to generate Solar power by installing Solar Panels on roof tops of the houses in villages. The Villagers should generate Solar energy to use it at their homes and the remaining should be purchased by the State Govt. to sell it to other states. The heating is so much in Rajasthan that they will generate immense Solar power with less efforts and can make not only them rich but also to their Govt. In Uttar Pradesh in Kanpur Dehat one village women NoorJahan has started this business. She gives Solar Laaltains to other villagers on rent basis and when some empty Laaltains comes to her she charge it with the help of Solar Panel she has at her home. She is earning good with this. Why the people living in villages in Rajasthan cannot do the same. The state govt. should take initiative to develop their state as a hub of Solar power in the country.
