This was a foregone conclusion that one day we have comedown from the high horse after we cancelled the talk in August. NDA's inexperience in dealing with international relationship is apparent. It clear like daylight that we are forced to engage by the power that be, all because of the inapt handling of the entire situation right from the very beginning. A case in study is the murky waters we are with our relation with Nepal.
Govt is trying hard to join the MTCR membership and Pakistan is opposing it tooth and nail. So engage Pakistan and get their support to get a place in MTCR. When it is through, hang them on balance like we did in the past. A diplomatic victory or a failure cannot be assessed immediately after a decision is taken. We have to wait. Can govt openly tell the world that this is why we want to engage with Pakistan.
Well whosoever this Bhadrakumar is, just talking dirt in the garb of so called expert with a useless tag added. What India and Pak want to do is to talk and they got it. Pat wants to talk but in Delhi without Hurriyat means just death at home hence they are happy and as far as India is concerned it hardly matters as long as Hurriyat is not in the picture. Both want both their items on the table and both got it. If this small fry Bhadrakumar is not briefed on the outcome well he as not authorised to !!
