Performance appraisal of the BJP / NDA Government
by Ramamurthy Venkateswaran on Dec 05, 2015 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

Since Shri Narendra Modi was elected as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary Party and became the Prime Minister of India, there has been a sustained effort on behalf of the 'gutter'bandhan of Congress and its allies to grade him. Like the Congress Party, BJP didn't go to the Press Conference every time water came in the toilets. The majority of the press, who seem to be under the pay roll of the erstwhile regime (perhaps the contract has not yet ended, but they are being asked to vacate the government accommodation by the present government) is totally aligned with the then ruling party and assuming that the Roman Empire got displaced and writing toilet paper reviews. India requires another freedom struggle from the paid media and its masters!

Sheer Propaganda
by Sumant KantSahai on Dec 05, 2015 04:38 PM

Propaganda by Mihir Shrma is being dished out as a Performance Appraisal of the Government. There are a few Ministries that are under-performing, like Agriculture. But, this article is total hogwash.
Just to add: Managing Change is a slow affair. Managing Change in huge set-ups will be slower. It will require 100s of small steps. The main change is coming about just on focusing the 'Things to Do' at the Top. Earlier governments have largely focused on the Finance and Kickbacks which resulted in the fully Corrupt polity.
Thankfully, a lot of things are changing. We have to give it time to manifest.

railway service at Palakkad to Plani was stopped 7 years back for gauage convertion. At that time they promised that the same will be commissioned within a year. Now after Mr suresh prabhu's initiative this started operationaln from 15.11.2015. Please note that no inaguration function was done. this is one case know to me .In my opinion is a karam jogi don't want any advertisement like you people. Please note that doing is very diffcult. So I want a clear clarification from the writer for his gradation criteria.

Author has no gradation criteria. Whatever he feels that is the grade. My experience is that I saw escalators in ernakulam railway station functional for the first time but of course these pseudo secular journalists close their eyes when they see it

i totally agree with the responses for the article. Mihir sharma is not only prejudiced but has demonstrated utter lack of civility to say that NDA is short of talent. The position of the running trains, hygiene both on the trains and the railway stations have improved substantially. If the author refuses to see it, he is just blind.

Modi cabinet
by Prakash Bedekar on Dec 05, 2015 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

The real problem is that Modiji wants to have total control and except few all other ministers are holding on because Modiji does not want them dropped but wants to show to the nation that he is surrounded by na￿ and incompetent ministers so he has no option but to have his say in every thing. One does not know for how long this could continue, may be next round of assembly elections will give enough courage to those who want to raise their voice of revolt.

Next round of election should give less seats to congus and that way parliament will function and business can carry on. While talking oin arun jaitley he is ready to implement GST but congus again is the blocker there so go to any ministry blocking point is congus and not the minister. By the way I am not sure all these authors gets what from congus but they do get something very regularly

Too many ministries are under-performing.
by K Bhaskaran on Dec 05, 2015 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

The report above is factual. Many of the Ministers are only politicians and not administrators. They are there because BJP has not many with administrative experience. They are just learners of administration.

Which govt had ministers who are administrators? Did you talk then? No because you are paid and you do not want to talk at that point of time?
