VEHICULAR POLLUTION IS THE CULPRIT
by chandrashekar nayak on Dec 01, 2015 09:20 AM

Annual Summits on Climate Change will be of no use unless certain concrete steps are taken on the ground.Reduction is vehicular pollution, increase in green cover by tripling forest cover, focus on non-conventional energy sources, more liberalized civilian nuclear power regime etc etc should be the main thrust area. Diesel vehicles are the biggest culprits. This should be discouraged, may be by 100% de-regulation of diesel of diesel prices and a substantial one time levy on doesel run passenger cars , promoting shared can services in big cities instead of every individual using his /her own persoanal vehicles, making it mandatory for schools to operate school buses instead of parents using 1500 cars and two wheeler vehicles to drop/pick up their wards, people voluntarily observing at least 4 vehicle-free days in a month, at least 50% reduction in street lights in cities and towns, people switching off lights, fans, TVs, refrigerators and all other electrical devices at least for one hour every day, complete ban on electrical decorations during marriages, public functions, religious ceremonies and festivals, complete ban on using high capacity Diesel Generator sets, etc are some of the options available to the Govt if it seriously wants to cut carbon emission. Going for Solar Energy is an expensive proposition, given the current economic situation of India. Coal based Electricity projects can not be completely done away with, at least for the time being.

INDIA IS MOST CORRUPT IN TERMS OF FOREST AND ENVIRONMENT ISSUE --- THE FOREST COVER IS depleting and cities are growing without any planning --there is no re cycling of waste water in any indian cities 100 %, small towns even don't have proper planned drainages . animals in forests are getting killed even if they are rare species -- by natural calamities and poachers . MOUNTAINS AND HILLS are destroyed for construction . Indians have habit of littering everywhere though educated person , all govt officies / railway stations / govt busses/ trains / and cities are full of dirt and filth -- EVEN THE SACRED RIVERS ARE NOT SPARED .. and all this is having an increasing trend / ABOVE ALL THERE IS FOOLS DEMOCRACY WHICH ALLOWS FOOLS AND SELFISH PEOPLE TO DO ALL FOOLISH ACTIVITIES WHILE FOOL MEDIA IS busy broadcasting -- speaches and fool statements of leaders from different corners of country . one fool will say something from one corner and other fool will reply from other corner of country . and foolish Indian citizens are busy discussing the same and blaming each other . THE CONDITION OF INDIAN RIVERS HAS GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE IN LAST 60 YEARS .
