This is what an issue less media reporter are indulging in.PM to resolve this is like DGP being asked to settle a fight between Mother & daughter in law. This guy Vikas Sure is a total rogue & need to sacked forthwith from institute.

Frivolous Demand
by venky rao on Aug 20, 2015 03:19 PM

Students cannot dictate who should be their Prinicipal.
This will be a very bad precedent.
Colleges all over India will start demanding selection of their own choice or may also demand that they want syllabus of their own choice etc.
The Modi Govt. should not succumb to their frivolous demand.
Let him take charge of the Institution and if he is felt not efficient, then action can be taken.

Great, now thay want PM to intervene

When students behave like mob and start to select heir director/chairman/teacher, then that institute doesn't remain as a learning centre. Likewise, this FTII has already lost its shine, better govt privatise it at the earliest possible, so that taxpayers money can be saved.

It seems these students are strongly backed by some political forces without which such tenacity can't be seen in any learning centre.
