Check what ?
200000 toilets were constructed in Gujarat ??
Really ??
Or...or....or....is it for the entire country (as claimed by Modi himself) ??
And 49 % of Gujaratis - how many people would that mean (considering that Gujarat's population is more than 5 crores) ???
How many families and consequently how many homes would 49 % of Gujaratis represent ??
2 lakh toilets ??
In Gujarat alone ??
Do yourself a big favour. Check facts and spend some time thinking about the same before trying to hook them up to try and support your prejudices with !
Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Abu Dhabi Labour camp also. This is where the least paid among immigrant workers (construction workers, drivers, shop assistants, etc.) live. Indians form the majority among those who live here.
Narendra Modi, as is typical of most north Indians (even those who are literate and educated), sure would be mighty surprised to find :
1. That Malayalis do not constitute 100 % of such Indian workers and actually are only 28 % at present (source : Ministry of Overseas Indians statistics)
2. That men from the highly *developed* state of Gujarat also are present among them
3. That even the least paid among these workers are covered by ILO (International Labour Organistation - UN body) vetted job contracts
4. That the wages received by these workers enable them to make remittances to their homes in India that are several times the amounts that unskilled workers in most parts of India manage to earn
5. That there is no bonded labour, labour without wages
6. That working hours are clearly defined and followed
7. That these workers live in quarters that have functioning toilets with running water supply
8. That there is not a single instance of open defecation in or around the living quarters !!!
For a man so used to seeing the lower classes of Indian society live in abjectly miserable conditions all his life, the sights in the Abu Dhabi labour camp sure will shock Modi into disbelief !

And for a man who has brainwashed himself to the extent that Narendra Modi has, such sights would be so powerful that the reality of 49 % of all Gujaratis defecating in the open to this day for want of toilets and running water and due to acute poverty will surely haunt him for a long while !
