"History ought to be examined, and re-examined, threadbare, before nations have the capacity to move on, is Hajari's contention."Here is history .Let us examine or reexamine and say Jinnah is right in telling in Lahore on 2nd march 1941 thus","That is what we want. Our demand is not from Hindus because the Hindus never took the whole of India. It was the Muslims who took India and ruled for 700 years. It was the British who took India from the Mussalmans. So, we are not asking the Hindus to give us anything. Our demand is made to the British, who are in possession. It is an utter nonsense to say that Hindustan belongs to the Hindus. The last mughal emperor had in India no burial place place even.Mr. Jinna was thinking that India was belonged to the Mussalman because they had ruled it,By that argument India also belonged to the British because they had ruled it for 200years,All Rubbish self serving PoliticsR.Ponnambalam

It will be prudent to read "Guilty men of Partition" by RM Lohia. He was very much part of the upper reaches of the heirarchy as a close associate and follower of JP. He was witness to a fait accomplie presented by Nehru & Sardar to MG. Surprisingly MG did not even mildly admonish them for going behind his back and telling the devious Mountbatten that partion was acceptable to them. There was a time when Jinnah in his wildest dream did not think about partion or the insecurity with Muslims. What changed him is definetly a subject of study. ( does it not take two hands to clap ?)

Can't be said much about the partition possibilities and and probabilities about which has been said in the article on Partition of India but perhaps today's mess of Jammu & kashmir is the baby of Mr Nehru
It appears Congress had not learnt any lessons even after witnessing the repercussions/consequences due to division of Composite India into Two as reported by the author of book MIDNIGHT furies-legacy of Indian partition even congress was equally responsible in 1946/47.Even worse is the hasty way COMPOSITE ANDHRAPRADESH was divided Using the brutal power closing the doors of Parliament and in utter disregard to SriKrishna Committees detailed report on the severe repercussions both Telangana and more Andhra state going to face.THE HASTINESS AND HALPHAZARD WAY SEPARATIKN DONE WITH SHEER SELFISHNESS TO GRAB POWER FOR CONGRESS IN TELANGANA HAD UTTERLY FAILED ALONGWITHITS ROUTE AT CENTRE AS WELLAS IN MANY CONGRESS RULED STATES.WHEN CONGRESS LEARN LESSONS?
