At least one indian alive
by MANEESH DAVE on Apr 01, 2017 06:25 AM

The issues raised by a lady are example to other citizens to show how to live and fight for truth , everything is going in such a way that we would need lackhs of people to be united and devoted to protect democracy. I think we lost independence if this data would somehow reach multinationals . Then all my habits what i eat, drink , my likes and disliked become public and these multinationals control market to control india and we become a part of East India Company, courtsy UID.

right to Privacy - Mockery of the right
by Manian on Aug 08, 2015 06:46 AM

Every country has the Unique Identification card system which captures the finger prints etc which is necessary to ensure that they are no multiple cards taken unlike Election card or ration card. Right to life is subject to the provisions of law and it is not unqualified or open ended. The same set of people who go to middle east have there finger prints and eye captured and make no comments. Are we against the UID or certain conditions where the secrecy of information is not guaranteed. Let us attack those points rather than the scheme which is much required which is common across the country. Even in islamic countries the finger prints are taken. Let us not criticise for the sake of it without understanding the need for it.

RIGHT TO LIFE

We are all going to be puppets in the hands of the present and future governments. Has Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi got his UID, the PM and all the ministers should have them done first before they begin with other citizens. The Maharashtra government is the worst, they refused to pay the salaries of employees if their UID cards were not submitted, this is surely BLACKMAIL. Now all school children have to have them. what is the government trying to do? You will never succeed in keeping track of dishonest peoples money only the salaried ones will be the most effected.

Correct. We are also blackmailing all criminals by wanting to know exactly what crimes they commit. Right?

Yes i think govt should wind up with this project because it is against right to life as mention in the above text. Also a broad debate is necessary in the matter.
