has now hastily beaten a retreat on at least 3 occasions.
One : The axsixnine order by the HRD ministry to IIT Madras to derecognize the APSC had to be withdrawn quietly
Two. The hxaxm handed attempt to try and secure some extra votes by banning intexrnet sixtes led to such an uproar that the govt promptly reversed the order in fear of losing more votes than it might already be losing
and most damagingly and humiliatingly,
Three. The 8 month old doxgxged attempt of Narendra Modi to appear resolute, firm and focused on allegedly developing the country by grabbing land from farmers without their consent and without the hitherto mandatory social impact assessment studies and giving such land away for a song to cxrxony capitalists (masked of course, under a mountain of legalese and sanctimonious jargon) came finally unstuck despite repeated attempts to glue it in place by promulgating ordinances.
Modi rarely gxrxins in public. All that is usually seen that comes near is a kind of a smirk that is coated in forced sarcasm at anything that he says he does not agree with.
But, on occasion, he has indeed managed something more than mere smirks. He gxrixns sheepishly at times.
Perhaps, after ending up with such a big mass of egg on his face three times, it is time to put on a really sheepish grxixn!

The Govt cannot be Maa Baap sarkar anymore. They don't seem to realise that. Creating infrastructure, ensuring basic essentials to all sections of society and providing opportunity for growth, these must be its priority. If the Govt is bent on curbing obscenity, then it must first bulldoze Khajuraho and burn and ban all copies of Kamasutra. When that cannot be done as it's part of our 'rich' cultural heritage, then it cannot ban their modern forms also.

If say 10 percent of rapists say they did it after watching pon the govt has every right to ban it

That way 10 percent rapists can get temples and prayers banned by saying they did it after praying. Why should what criminals like rapists say start making law?? Rapist is the only one to be blamed for the rape irrespective of what they say. There is none other and nothing else to blame. The law only has to see whether it is a rape or not.
