Western countries label India,China & other developing countries corrupt. This story now exposes how a former US Secretary of State, & now a contender for 2016 US President, took donations for her party's support to the US-Indo civil nuclear bill, which needed to be passed in both houses of US Parliament, to come into operation. Not only Ms Clinton, but a number of Republican Senators took donations, agreed to be Chief Guest in events,by getting paid heavily for their speeches in these events. This work of buying the Senators was done by a an Indian NRI,who has a chain of restaraunts in USA,& who got a Padma Vibhusan for his this work in 2009. The Indo-US civil nuclear deal is mired in corruption, arm twisting of India by USA, & both the UPA I & NDA II govt are to be blamed for yielding to be bullied.

What is so surprising? Corruption is a worldwide phenomenon. We should just accept it. It has been legalised in so called developed countries. We need to just accept it. There is no other way of doing things. Any thriving economy cannot NOT have corruption!

All countries spend huge amounts on lobbying and paying off various personalities in the US and other countries to get decisions and programs favorable to their countries. We should work towards national interests and forget about Gandhi's "means are as important as the end". We live in an imperfect world.
