so fanatically passionate about Indian politics, more usually in favour of right wing hindutva politics, can mean one of only two things, viz
1. A small segment among them is drawn by the fragrance of loot arising from big favours granted or could be granted by the Indian govt. for NRI businesses in India (but this also applied to those Indian Americans who lobbied with the previous Congress governments in India for economic favours)
2. But a much larger segment among the Indian Americans expresses its fanatic passion in Indian politics only because it remains so much outside the American mainstream and is generally ignored or taken for granted by the white hosts despite America's strict equal opportunity and anti-discriminatory laws. Overt passion for jingoist Indian politics is one way to try and overcome the despondency arising from being ignored by white Americans.
Indians in America make up just one among more than a hundred immigrant communities. News about the different immigrant communities is so profuse and so varied that white Anglo Saxon Americans - who make up the core of the American citizenry - never notice and never care.

In front of the gora crowd, these same NRIs come across as apologetic for their origins and even vegetarianism but when it comes India, they think they can make it up by supporting the exclusivist agenda of the BJP/RSS, which by the way, is espoused by the anti-immigrant white supremacists in US. There they want to benefit from the liberal traidtion of that country and its rule of law, but the nation they left, which is also a democracy should attain majoritarian assertions.

what rajdeep is talking about ? the kangress who spread hatred for hindus are already thrown out of power. such journalist like rajdeep shuld be humiliated bcoz they think they are the judges whatever they do is right and the public at large is wrong. no questions shud be imposed on journalists even 75% of the news is false, propogated, instigated and dubious. horrible media in india and govt shuld bring in measures to curtail the spread of hatred through our media and journalists
