Not alibaba , it is Ambedkar who kept till today in darkness and poverty. India is still suffering and living in poverty and divide, because of him. And we India want to remember him. Sad.

There are enough memorials for Babasaheb Ambedkar in India. If any of their supporters want his memorial in London where he stayed they should better contribute from their sources instead of asking government to spend public money.
There is nothing special about building wise about this house, except that Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar livid here for a year. It is a standard issue terrace house like any other in london and should not cost more then 250000 to 300000 which any one can afford to buy. 20% deposit on the price and the house s yours, pay the balance in 25 years.A simple factory worker can afford such house then why can't an organisation who wants to preserve it. Federation of Ambedkarites and Buddhist Organisations, can put together funds to buy it very easily. There are plenty of Federation of Ambedkarites and Buddhist followers in UK who can easily donate a vast amount for this project. Now how about buying the wooden panel in the Cambridge University on which Nehru scribbled his name when he was studying there. Panel with his name and other students of the time is still there as it was then. Or buying the House in West Kensington where Gandhi livid when he was studying law in London. What about the Pub in victoria,London where Udham Singh Bought the pistol from Mr shah to kill O'Dwyer. What about Maharaja Dulip Singh's Palace in Cambridge an Isle Of White, UK They are still there. There is so much Indian heritage history in UK, It will take 100s of years and trillions to buy. If we keep on spending on this kind of stuff,we are taking funds away from India. British ruled India for 200 odd years there is so much of British heritage in India, but has any one ever tried to buy and prese
for free of cost or at very cheap rate. Recently Aap was looking for such Bunglow but failed to be recognised as National Party. Contrary to that Even earlier bunglows cost should be recoverd from the Political Parties who have made them Political headquarters.
we have short of land, if we still go on making Samadhies statues or memorials of every leader we will be left with no land . Further can Govt pay money for such purchases when people are already short of basic amenities. Does it look wise ? Already many old victory symbols of invaders , made only after destroying local architecture, are looked by Govt. organisation in the name of saving heritage.
