I request those who are praising Modi to read articles being written or has been written on him in Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post. You will get an entirely different perspective. You will see the hollowness of this trip. These articles show how much India can actually offer to US businessmen versus how much Modi is promising. All are publicity stunts. Nothing will work in reality for business if India does not provide business friendly environment. For example, India vetoed WTO which is strongly protested by USA and European leaders. There are strong disagreement among Indian government and US businessmen on Indian share on their investment. US wants more than 50% share, but India doesn't want that. Can Modi agree to their demand? Only then the real investment will come.
