basic fare of indian airlines is costly as compared to other airlines , people prefers to go for other airlins , for that reasons indian airlines booking is low because of high fare rates
The way air traffic has soared is primarily due to reduced fares during non-peak periods. Also people booking in advance helps them buy at cheaper rates. This regime has come to stay and is the best thing that has happened to indian aviation industry for a long time. Maybe The Indian Railways should take a cue from this.
Gone are the days of IAC and AI,so long as the fare is same throught the year situation could change.Rising the fare during peak season ( only few weeks) and lowering in other months, does not really bring anything good.Fares and rules of luggage allowances must NOT change at all, and charged reasonable will help the industry as well as the flyers.Will it happen?
