But US is both an opportunity and a grave risk. The political and monied forces of America do have it in their DNA to convert bilateral relationship to a demanding and almost master-slave relationship of exploitative kind. The leftist charge of neo-colonialism is definitely valid, consequently a healthy dose of anti-colonial credential is also required.
The Mcarthysitic politicians, who tend to see things in black and white, effectively derailed Indo-US relationship by disregarding non-alignment. Likewise in recent years RSS, BJP and Modi Saheb in particularly have been vilified.

The manner in which US media as well as political establishment sided with Congress dynasty for decades is one of the sordid aspects of Indo-US relationship. What about Indian who do not have jobs, people living below poverty line, education facilities, Health facilities, Brain Drain of frustrated youth not getting their due in India. I was fan of Mr. Modi. I have given series of suggestion about education and Health but to no use. Now I am frustrated.
