Science and technology culture development is key....
by kartikeya on Sep 26, 2014 03:21 PM

It is only through growth in science and technology that developing nations have become developed nations.

The difference between developed and developing nations lies in science and technology.

The purpose of mars mission is to foster a culture of science and technology in India. Only through such a culture can India become a developed nation like Japan and the western nations.

Japan is a much poorer nation than India in terms of natural resources, but have emerged as a much superior nation economically speaking because of its culture of science and technology.

The mars project is based on a flimsy budget of 83 million dollars. It provides livelihood to many scientists and engineers who otherwise would be serving foreign nations and benefitting them.

India spends a fortune on the education of scientists and engineers only to have them leave India due to lack of opportunities here. Other nations then benefit from India's investment in education.

ISRO has come a long way, from a humble beginning, crossing innumerable hurdles at home and outside. Burt finally we have done it. First in the world to hit the bull's eye in the maiden attempt. The whole nation is in ecstatic jubiliation.
Heartiest congratulations to team ISRO. You made the nation proud. India's Space Odyssey has begun.
Our next destination? Jupiter!
