The largest market for Chinese made smartphones in the world is India. Just slap a duty of 20% additional duty on any goods which are made in China. Make a certificate of origin compulsory so that they donot route their export from HongKong instead. It becomes unaffordable if exported via Dubai. Call this duty as China Incursion special duty. Our exports would not suffer much because the balance of trade is in Chinese favour. With one of the largest consumer markets in the world out of bounds all this incursions will stop on its own. Withdraw duty conditionally and ensure that the chinese know that this duty can be slapped anytime on imports into India if they put even so much as a toe into the Indian territory. No doubt we will also suffer sinc most smartphones are made in China but I guess we Indians can adjust a little bit for our sovereignity.MAybe what i have suggested above is stupid but I have a feeling that the chinese businessmen love their money as much as we do and they would put pressure on the Government in China
Forget Jin Ping who came to India and insulted us and we could not do anything as he was a guest and we are duty bound to extend the coutrsey that a head of state desrves.
If BJP would have been in opposition... they would have demanded to abruptly end the trip of JIN Ping on the issue of border development, but after coming in power they behaved with responsibility.
Wish our PM to come with back with most of the wish list fulfilled. Else he will have difficult time at home turf.
Only one suggestion to PM. Do not use language of twitter like INCH to MILE etc as in diplomacy these are irrelevant things. Because instead of moving from Inch to Miles China has pushed it to Millimeter.

Its not that easy...Not a single bullet is fired since 1962.. Pressing the trigger of the gun is tempting but consequences are huge. At this point, nothing should hurt our growth...That's the reason..We are so patient
PRC is sitting on a huge pile of forex reserves >$3.5 trillion. It is in its own interest to invest sizable amounts at lucrative rate of interest available in countries like India. If it is not interested, no need to pursue further. We may correct our balance of trade by putting all kinds of possible restrictions on imports from China and promoting heavy industries and manufacturing in a big way within the country. No need to wage a war. We may befriend all countries surrounding PRC except Pakistan. We must do that and compete with them in Africa. With wage rate rising consistently and population ageing fast it will find it hard to maintain its position. already US MNCs are going back. In these time wars are not always won on the battlefields but in markets. Let us keep our cool and unwavering firmness for the time being. And give them a tough fight in the markets.

All Of us when we go to the shops to buy , we should ensure that we minimize our purchase of China made goods. Even scissors , Nail Cutters , Pen Drives , Birth day candles , Batteries , Toys, Mobile phones if we ignore the Chinese we can manage them. Do not talk do it.
May be we are trying to read meanings other than what is intended or expecting much more than what could have been there in this visit of Mr.Xi. We have now clearly no illusions about them. Their stand on various related matters has not undergone any change. We have to tread the path carefully and keep dialogues on at the same time prepare ourselves for the worst. Punitive acts by them can only be in military terms and not in the trade or manufacturing setups of India which are not dependent on them.
India is not a subject which can tested. India does not react to such tests, it responds. And the change in equilibrium is more likely than not put India in an advantageous situation.
India is unlikely to overreact or seek quick responses from Western nations, thereby consent to compromise its long stated policy positions. Provocations is unlikely to make the future trajectory sub-optimal, instead is likely to create internal constituency for rational policies.
These provocations are hare-brained thinking, which instead of building mutually beneficial trust shall do more harm than good to China.

In 2012, China with collaboration with Russia tried to reach Mars, but failed. ISRO with assist from NASA has succeeded well.
This India-US partnership success story is likely to be cloned in almost every domain thinkable in near future. The Chinese provocation has made this expectation bit more realizable than ever before.

The assist from US was primarily in terms of infrastructure for deep space navigation. It does not take away any credit from the totally indigenous effort . Likewise, the effort to develop and also defend would be primarily in swadeshi mode, since India has talent. Chinese can trust and rely on Indian non-alignment for mutually beneficial relationship; even while the security architecture build blocks are put in place.

It makes more sense for them to cut losses and restore status-quo-ante. The cost of occupation rises each day, and tactical gains brings no real relief.

Chinese wants to Woo Indian PM so that he won't side with US too much, we can TRUST Japanese, Westerners but not Chinese and their Products...Modi should be careful not to go by their word of mouth, he should go by their intended actions
By challenging Modi and being deceitful Xi has ensured Indias trilateral alliance with Japan & US. In the long term China will lose all its current dominance first the military and finally its economy. China will taste is military debacle soon, either with nimble Vietnam or swifter India.
