Gujju's Meet
by Jack Daniels on Sep 23, 2014 09:10 PM  | Hide replies

Modi is going to US to meet his Gujju batch. Obama and Biden will hardly spend any time with him, bcoz any 3rd world country PM is like a road-side rickshaw puller for America.

When Xi was here Modi dint do any work other than entertaining the Chinese President and Lady. But same type of treatment will not happen to Modi in USA.

Domestic problems

Hope PM will soon find time to attend to India's domestic problems. So far he has shown more interest in external affairs, just like Chacha Nehru.

Dude you need to pay your domestic help yourself.

Modi can only help get cheaper oil from Iran, or motivate ISRO or create Make in India initiative or focus on teachers and education improvement. Fair enuf?

I see! In other words, what he can do is give 'motivational' speeches!
what noise he made about inflation and price rice before!

BUILDINGT RELATIONS OK BUT NO 'BEAR HUG' OF U.S ESTBLSHMNT

PM,Narendra Modi’s first U.S. visit is welcome wishing him all success and hope it helps strengthen relations between the two countries. However it is ironical that although U.S. is the richest country in the world and India one of the poorest but whenever such summit meeting happens it is the richest nation that is always looking to arm-twist India to the extent possible to squeeze in as much commercial concessions as possible for its businessmen. They always talk of opening up Indian market but will protect American job interests in the IT sector limiting visa to Indian techies. American mechanized farm sector of richest farmers in the world will get billions of dollars of fuel subsidy but India must not subsidize the impoverished Indian farmers that is against the principles of open market policies. America consuming 4-5 times of fossil fuel of that of India and an American family of four people possess four of everything from cars to fridge to TV …..and so on but it has to be India that is yet to achieve even electrifications to 100% of its population and not America that has to commit first on cutting carbon emission !Next, coming to foreign policy, the U.S. administration is fighting terror all over the world but pays billions of dollars annually as “protection money” to Pak Army/ISI that would keep U.S. away from Taliban firing line but is mainly used to breed terror in the country against India. Further, is there any doubt that any and ev

(CONTD.0..Further, is there any doubt that any and every jihadi outfit --- the Al-Qaeda,Talibans, ISIS,…..are all creation of the American establishments like Pentagon, CIA etc. aimed at dividing the Islamic world along sectarian lines. Given this background of American policy of world policing and india’s past traditional role of a leading non-aligned country the prospects of strategic partnership between the two countries do not look all that great. Main problem is Americans look for ‘lackies’ not equal partners and India has to be cautious from making any adventuress ‘bear-hug’ of that country
