Don't forget whatever help the army has been doing is at the behest of BJP-led-NDA government at the Centre. Christian missionaries use these situations for conversions while Islamic militants who showed up every other day are not capable of handling a natural crisis of such proportions and themselves depend on the state to assist their own people in rehabilitation. You can be certain Kashmiris in general have full faith in the people of their country and their government at the centre to continue with the assistance they need till every resident of the flood-affected is taken care of for his food, clothing and shelter and also some fresh livelihood to begin with. Modi-Led-BJP has the will to generate resources for the largest humanitarian relief operation people from the netire nation will be engaged in directly or indirectly. I hope this gives you some hope while removing your misperception reflected in that reckless comment of yours.

Let kashmiris take initative

It is my humble opinion that, now that people have been rescued. Let the kashmiri govt, people, separists, expats, take the initiative in providing relief and people again stand on their feet.

Let us to our best in reducing their agoney.

separatist even wont bother to come forward for the welness of Kashmiri people. It will be completely Indian govt and people of other part of India can help them to re-construct their life again.
I dont know, whether Kashmiri's will learn lesson out of this disaster and the help provided by nation or not....

If they learn, it would be the golden era restarting...
if they dont, then it will be totally their misfortune.....

The choice will be always of Kashmiri people.....

Choose wisely this time....

Floods
by Ravinder chepuri on Sep 18, 2014 01:22 PM  | Hide replies

Since centuries, cities are built on the banks of Rivers. This kind of havoc can happen in other Indian cities also as there is a likelihood of every city receiving this kind of rainfall (400% more than normal rainfall) once in every century. The residential areas are inundated because the course of the River is narrowed down due to urabanisation and illegal constructions. We should learn from this experience, take preventive measures and see that the damage is minimal when this kind of situation arises in future, elsewhere.

The area occupied by China contains mountains and a high desert (Aksai Chin). It is useful to them because they have built a highway cutting across it. There are no big rivers there.

Dont set a bad precedent. Enough of Flood aid diplomacy. The people are suffering and lets help them rather than go on asking for presenting their credentials to indian state and people.

Not good to blackmail when they are already in distress. Article 370 is political and rehabilitation is human. Don't mix two things.

Natural calamities do happen everywhere in the world. It is very clear as to how unhumans we are from from various comments here.We did have calamities in other parts of india , were there any ugly comments like this. We will be helping the human beings in distress. not depending on what they are or what they did or what they will be doing in future.

Relief in other areas devastated by natural calamities is not met with stoning and shouting of anti-national slogans. You people are pitiable. Just go and see the banners that have been put up by the kashmiris, after all the efforts put on by our security forces....
Fact of the matter is these kashmiris will never become Indians. Those who are, are already living in pitiable conditions for the past more than 24 years without ever spraeding hate against those who persecuted them.

Natural calamities occur irrespective of religion or communities it can occur in any region. This are testing times for people and Govt. both. To trivialise the situation and turn it into a unhealthy situation is putting salt on wounds, which is highly deplorable
