its true

gaomata is 5th mother of Hindus. It is said in puranas there are 33koti gods in gaomata, wherein bulls and baffalows too are heriditary to goamata. Whoever deal wt butcherscommunity, has to face disaster in life my observation. My grandfather had a deal withlanda in partnership, after deal my GF died withing 15 days bedridden. I came across one driver beenworkingforlandas, his wife also ridden on bed for 8 yrs after accident. The money derived or gained fromservingordealing butchers is futile with blood and sins on hand.

By this logic the whole world would have ended by now. Beef is the 2nd most consumed meat after chicken in the world.

Mukund what you are saying is not Karma. Kamaphal is limited to the doer of the Karma and no one else. Bhagawad Gita says so.

It's such a shame to even speak about smuggling of cattle to bangladesh...are we to beleive that our border security forces are so inept that they cant stop this?...this is but sheer corrpution whereby our forces are involved big time

No as you yourself said, they are not inept, they are CORRUPT, due to their sickular masters.

Cows go to Bangladesh for slaughter and Bangladeshi illegal immigrants come in like cattle, thanks to sickular vote-bank politics.

well well ! It's like alcohol which anyone with money can buy in Gujarat ruled by non-sickular party. The money of course is shared by the police, racketeers and the non-sickular or sickular politicians. Hence no one wants prohibition to go! When you try to artificially control this is what happens. Instead of letting cows die hungry thirsty and in many cases painfully since they eat garbage and the plastic gets stuck in their throat and they slowly die due to lack of breath. It's better to export legally than illegally whether so called sickular or not the Govt in power. let's see if the non-sickular govt can do anything about it.

Total ban on Cow slaughtering---
by Debasish Sarkar on Sep 05, 2014 01:03 PM  | Hide replies

---to improve cow population, which is absolutely necessary for the day. Previous Government deliberately neglected this issue, but I hope the present Administration will take seriously to rectify this gross anomaly [on cow population] shortly.

Come to gujarat you will see a glimpse of what happens.A lot of stray cows in the street, no place to eat, making the city dirty. Those which goes to goushala are later sold by the operator as they are over crowded.
Nature maintains the eco system itself

One major reason for decline is the decline in agriculture itself. Without agriculture, it's not desirable to raise cattle. It costs too much and if you can't sell due to a cow slaughter ban, why would you bother raising? Well to be honest the cow is revered only by the high castes and not all Hindus as such. A lot of adivasis, SC/ STs eat beef. But that is another story which is difficult to have in a caste dominated English media- print or online !!

Another reason is artificial insemination for commercial purposes. So a cow can lactate longer than it wud naturally.
