Mr. Dulat's comment on Kashmir issue should not be taken seriously. Since he is talking to the press for the general public of the nation, it is in all likelihood that most of his comments are exactly opposite to what he really feels about this issue personally. For example ISI not bothering about Kashmir is not very true, in fact ISI would like to keep the pot boiling as the so called, Democratic Government in Pakistan is nothing but a wooden puppet fabricated by them. So also does India, they too would like to see that Kashmir issue remains burning and not reduce to ashes, as it helps them to remain popular with the masses, at the same time put a blanket over many other serious issues of the Nation. It is not so simple as the journalist (Sheela Bhatt) puts it. What I am trying to say to the people of both the nations (India and Pakistan), is DO NOT GET SWAYED OR CARRRIED OVER BY SUCH interviews.

The best bet for Afghans, Pakistanis, and Bangladeshis is to be rule by India as in the times of the British or emperor Asoka. There is no other economic and political solution.
