Nonsense is talking as though central govt is responsible for electricity in Maharashtra, even though electricity is a STATE SUBJECT in the Constitution.

When Gujarat gave 24x7 electricity it was because of BJP govt in Gujarat under Modi.

Other states could have done the same. But corrupt congies have not given 24x7 electricity even after 15 years of continuous rule in Maharashtra.

Mumbai Power Outage
by Prashant Mhatre on Sep 02, 2014 01:48 PM

Most shameful and outrageous.
The Provider {Tata Power} and the Utility BEST, should both be held accountable and a steep punitive fine must be levied o both and paid out to the registered users on a pro rata basis w.r.t thejr power usage pattern.

Power Crisis
by Purushottam Singi on Sep 02, 2014 01:48 PM

There is an adage""You grow what you sow".
Politicians have been liberal in announcing free power, food etc. This has cultivated a free user habit. But there can not be free lunch. It is time to tel users that nothing comes free, one has to pay for its uses, be it power, water or transport. Only very deserving people should be provided with free facilities to minimal.
