HUDHUD DISASTER IN MVP COLONY VISAKHAPATNAM

I have reached home in MVP Colony Visakhapatnam in the night of 10th October 2014. 11th is my dental checking and Root Canal Treatment and the teeth pain not allowed me to go out of the house with a thinking that on Sunday I can do. We woke up to a shattering Sunday watching our beloved city literally crumble and all the electric poles and trees got twisted and no words to explain. With howling winds running riot in the city, uprooting anything that came in their way right from the wee hours of Sunday and power has gone at 11.00 PM in the night of 11th October 2014. Total city was plunged into darkness forcing most denizens to keep awake.

"I woke up at around 2am to ear-splitting sounds of howling winds and doors and windows banging. I have never seen such furious winds ever in my life. Once daylight broke, I was shocked to see all the trees in my area uprooted and electric poles bent over. The entire neighbourhood is enveloped in darkness, but the strong winds continue to blow at regular intervals,". Rain water tasted me salty and is having the mix of sand. I understood that water from Bay of Bengal with 200 KM per Hour wind is coming from East Direction. I have seen a wall in the 5th floor of my house. The fifth floor parapet wall is shaking. My car is in-front of my house. It is 12.50 Noon, I ran down as there was a gap in the downpour and wind blow. I put my car inside and in few seconds the wind blow started at more than 200 KMPH.
