The best lunar eclipse I have ever seen was about 10 or 12 years ago on Thanksgiving night about 10 PM. The moon completely disappeared in the sky directly over head and with the last glimpse of the moon gone, all the stars burst out in all their glory like they were just setting and waiting for it to happen.
