Blood Moon...

Such a beautiful natural phenomenon and makes you stop and realize just how important, rare and precious this delicate balance is to our little portion of the universe! I love these events as they remind us that there is something bigger and better than the millions of miserable tiny things that revolve around our life - bills, petty, frustrating stuff that happens in traffic, the stress of everyday life, work..

The best lunar eclipse I have ever seen was about 10 or 12 years ago on Thanksgiving night about 10 PM. The moon completely disappeared in the sky directly over head and with the last glimpse of the moon gone, all the stars burst out in all their glory like they were just setting and waiting for it to happen. Then about 30 minutes later, as the moon started to appear again, all the stars quickly disappeared back into the night.

"Blood Moon" is a term invented by John Hagee, a cultist and scam artist fishing for scientific illiterates he can scare into helping to enrich him. Those, such as Rediff, who use the term are simply aiding this crook..

The rare tetrad Blood Moons are those that occur on Jewish Holidays - which these currrent 4 in a row do... 04/15/2014 Blood Moon on Passover; 2nd Blood Moon 10/8/2014 Sukkot (tabernacles); 3rd Blood Moon 04/15/15' Passover; 4th Blood Moon 09/28/2014 Sukkot (Tabernacles).

Spectacular pictures on this total lunar eclipse 2014. Lunar eclipse also known as "blood moon", due to its reddish colour and daytime visibility.
