In the dead of the night,leaving aside deep slumber,I,a senior citizen,lent my ears for Modi's speech during his historical American visit.His MSG speech was treat to my ears and emotions.The people over-flooded MSG arena was always on their heels to shout Modi..Modi;they were enthused and enthralled with his charisma and excellent oratory.As Mr.Srinivasn claims Modi,never claimed the credit for the Mangalyan and its success,whereas he was emphasizing the capability of the Indian people to do things with less financial involvement than the Americans or the Westeners do.He was eulogizing the capability of the Indian people.It is noteworthy here that President Obama took an extra mile to accompany him to the venue of Jessy Jackson Statue which was not in Obama's itinerary.All said and done,we have sit with our fingers crossed to see the implementation of the MOUs signed.If something doesn't happen solid on the ground, all the hallow around the hyperbole will fall flat as a fiasco.!

Duumb paid media making fak#e hype, all world know whats outcome.Nota 1 $ came in india, no Inbdian IT company VISA issue rsolved..so why so hype. He is giving just loksabha speeches everywhere, where is serious business?
Many countries, including countries like Bangladesh, allow dual citizenship. Why did not Modi give dual citizenship to the Indian Americans who are the citizens of USA? Under current Indian law, getting a US citizenship means you have to forfeit Indian passport and citizenship. Why should not the people of Indian origin who migrated from India to USA not get dual citizenship status when countries like Bangaldesh can give to their citizenship? Lifelong visa for PIO is not the solution. Why I have to get a PIO card for that? Why can't I simply carry my Indian passport and American passport at the same time? By denying dual citizenship Modi has failed to show that he really can make a difference. All the talks about passing laws in parliament are nonsense. BJP has majority and they can do it. It doesn't make sense to me. So, my request to Modi is, if you really want to make us believe that you want us to contribute to India, make us feel that we are Indian too. Give us dual citizenship.
During the US visit one glaring omission which the PM made was not to meet former US president and India's best friend and well wisher Mr. George Bush.
History tells that only the Republican Presidents starting from Mr.Esinhowever had a soft corner and empathy for Indiawith the exception of Mr. Nixon but not a single Democrat has done any thing good for India right from Harry Truman including President John Kennedy for they never lost a single oppurtunity to nail India. This strak fact is always lost on India. The irony is, PM met Mr.Clinton who during previous NDA regime never hesitated toimpose sanctions on India for the 1998 Nuclear test.
