Ganadhi Jannti should be celebrated as joy to Khadi week
by mukesh chauhan on Oct 02, 2014 07:13 PM

Gandhi Jyanti should be celebrated as happy holiday to commemorate the birthday of our father of nation.
House keeping and environment cleaning should be included as part of education system to perform every day everywhere as min. five minutes activity at the start and end of your work, Not to spend a whole day for this and later forget all and wait for next year.

Mukesh

Good Job

Modi is acting like a public servant which is good, unlike his predecessors who acted like Kings.

Small things like cleanliness, toilets, infrastructure really makes a big impact.

I will give him full marks for atleast trying, even if he does not succeed.

I gave jaadu ki zhappi to the Municipal Street cleaner this morning in a hope that he will be happy and clean the street properly. Instead he gave me such a bad look :(

It is an excellent initiative.Congress is not prepared to realise and digest it's defeat.Sanjay Nirupam,Rashi Alvi, Rajeev Shukla, Manish Tewari Diggi and many like them are still under illusion..Let them join the CRsade against Gandagi instead of findind fault with PM...They will be thrown out by the people from the country's politics very soon

There are many senior, experience and mature leaders in congress but no one has any guts or courage to go against their immature and inexperienced leader like Rahul Gandhi who was sole responsible for the worst debacle of congress in last parliament election.

Self discipline is a subject liked by very few
by Anshuman Verma on Oct 02, 2014 06:53 PM

It is better to demonstrate before demanding something. It starts with oneself and is taught in childhood like other things like honesty, sincerety etc. But when these attributes are encountered with practicality of life in adulthood, the person with these attributes turn out to be a failure. It is everywhere. Bigger vision, missions are echoed from big podiums but are rarely followed thru heart and then common man feals himself as a foolish man. Even in this abhiyan, everybody knows that deptts. officials practiced cleaning just to comply instrcutions from ministries

I am 87 years old and live in Chennai and it is first time in the history of India that such an awareness has come and very happy to be under such a great prime minister. We would like the concerned officials to even take an interest to do similar work outside the Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai as at the entrance instead of having a nice and clean look it has got a huge garbage bin which may not be of any use to the college as it is half a kilometer from the entrance but full use for the tea stalls and vendors selling coconut water and a waste collector as well as a puncture mechanic using the wall as a toilet and throwing the bin full of waste tea cups and other waste which is cleared once a week so generating dirty smell as well as mosquitos and flies. And will request the citizens of India to inform the concerned authorities about the same so that they too will become alert and aware about the awakening of the public. If we show the younger generation not to start the practice our country will be clean and the minds too clean. It is the previous message that conveys heavy penalties or punishment but should be seen that it is enforced and not the law enforcement take the fines to themselves. We have a long time to go but it is never too late, lets join hands and start it now, before it is very late
