You are the most racist/casteist of all: your comment on the Bangalore verdict showed it. You are only concerned about caste, not corruption.
These are early days of the Modi sarkar and it has already created so much energy. This government should settle down to work once the foreign visits are over by the year end. Such adulation by such a large number of Indians within the country and abroad is very daunting and demanding to say the least. Heros will always have critics and haters will always be there. Many can't digest the adulation particularly if it goes against a system which had treated them exceptionally well. To continue to receive such high expectations from the 1.25 billion people, this government has to deliver substantial results and soon. First and foremost will be huge inflow of FDI and internal investment particularly in manufacturing and infrastructure. We must get it coming. Nothing succeeds like success. Its kind of a revolution, a break from the planned economic development and garibi hatao of 6 decades which never actually materialized. Once we get the investment at 40% of GDP with given ICOR we should be able to notch up double digit growth. All these foreign visits are to get that investment and soon. Let us hope and trust it happens as envisaged.

Aftab has really good points, Vikrant Kumar. By looking at the comments, he has more concern for our country than you...

If Aftab and you had really seen through the entire 4 days, you will have realized that he met with CEOs of large organized, showcased the indigenous Mangalyan effort, sold the concept of 'Make In India', showed maturity in dealing with all those negative sentiment and generally created a buzz about India. All while standing up for India's rights at the WTO, and not being apologetic.
One thing is certain, this type of positivity was lacking in our interactions for the past 10 years. The negative image of the immediate past takes some time to be erased, and cannot be done in a day. Obviously Aftab and his ilk would like tie-ups to happen in a day. It only showcased Aftab's bias and ignorance of business realities. As for hatemongers, there are plenty in the media who do that.
What it meant for a common man in India. May be the INdo-Americans wanted NaMo to ensure they get more privileges in US so that they can continue living for another 10 generations.. FYI they don't even send a potion of their money to India. In fact the main contributors of foreign money remitance are the labours working in Gulf countries

Can you please support you statement with actual facts and figures?
How much money do Laborers in Gulf countries remit to India and how does that amount compare with other sources of foreign currency earnings of India?!

Around approx 60% of the international remittances flow to the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Punjab ,maharastra and Uttar Pradesh. Remmitance to Gujrath is negligibale. Nonu Joys statement seems to be true

You are right Dear..the Indian-American community was the only winner..they got acknowledgement in the US as rich and powerful American immigrant community, they got Visa previledges for their home country and got the recognition of coming from a country which can offer billions of dollars to US in business. That's called triple whammy. Whereas we natives got nothing. No assurance from US in any area only a vague joint statement which spells out nothing.

i am sure you do not know the realities of labourers in Gulf. Will they be ever in a position to remit anything at all is the question..I have lived in the gulf for over 10 years and the labour class you are referring to are paid a pittance and have to put in long hours at work. Many of them would earn much more that in India by even being watchmen , mason, carpenter, driver etc but it is the false prestige associated with being in Gulf that blinds them

but the facts can be checked in google and you will find that 60% of remittance flowing to india is from gulf countries as they send all their hard-earned money back home

I read recently that Kerala has had rapid growth in the last few years (unlike the rest of India) due to remittances from the Gulf.
Such type of fan hysteria is associated with a Dictator and not democratically elected leader...Regarding MSG, it was a show organised by Indian-americans..if anything, it was the prowess of Indian-americans that was on display..India and Modi were just the masks..and nothing else..

Or in other words, it showed the movement of Indian-americans towards the US centre-stage rather than India's movement towards the World stage.

If these "shows" are making you Modi haters so green with envy and red with frustration, wonder what will happen to you when Modi's predictions and plans come true!
Please make video of your head exploding when that happens and have your next of kin post the videos online!
It would be a pity to miss such a spectacle simply because it is not possible to be in so many different places at the same time!

people with negativity never ever join the any movement towards progress and vent their frustrations on being left behind. Leave alone joining a movement..they can't even spot one
