Is it necessary to build such huge monuments. It can be grand temple but such tall structures will cost so much money which can be used for better use by providing education and healthcare for the poor and needy.

poverty has become a cottage industry. donations are no longer going to eradicate poverty but only going to enrich middlemen, ngos and politicians. salaries received by the top executives of professional charity organizations such as CRY are on par with industry. this whole charity business must stop. money must be channeled to create opportunities for people to become self-reliant instead of perennially depending on donors to fill their stomachs and other needs.

waste of money ?
ISCKON is religious organization not a govt authority .So who you are to say so.Its private entity.
Can you ask ambani why he is spending on his house.
Moreover it is clearly stated that they are keeping big chunk of building for education

So what is your problem

ISKCON spends a lot of money in India but does nothing to alleviate poverty or homelessness. Even in America, particularly in Los Angeles, the pattern is the same. nevertheless, they d not erect 700 feet structures with expensive construction. They cannot fool Americans so easily.

We Indians should feel proud and also grateful to the Western members of ISKON for taking forward our ancient Hindu culture and religion to international levels.

I have been to these kind of very high structures in Dubai and Bangkok; ultimately these are ugly and total waste of money.

True, instead of such wasteful expenditure we should spend money on schools, hospitals and such so that poor Hindus are educated and treated well, this will also stop them converting to other religions

poor people are there to loot the country. in the name of poverty lot of money is being siphoned by both political leaders and people. literally speding money on hospitals and education is meaningless. I am telling you the reality.

let them build these monuments. atleast our we can preserve the culture and heritage to our future generation.

if you feed a poor guy, he will buy a cigar or beedi and destroy the money.
