When the base is low the % improvements always appear high. This is a wrong picture. Given the abundance of natural resources the position of Jharkand even in a relatively under performing country such as India is pitiable
The above 3 criteria is not the only yardstick to measure growth of the state. The method of administering the survey also matters. Employment is a serious concern because almost 80% of the employable strength go outside their state to get employed. We have not seen new industries coming up in the last 10 yrs. Politically, Jharkhand is immature...where vested interests of the politicians have a larger say. It will take time for good and effective governance.
Public holiday is to cast vote not enjoy private parties of pikniks so every voter must ask his own friends and well wisher why the hell they do not go and vote look at expenditure part cost is from our tax paid only
Unemployment is the major challenge not only for Jharkhand but whole country...State like gujarat has highest migration rate in search of employment...it is a very big challenge not for the country but for all citizens...Central govt should speak on this matter like it is speaking on matter which is not very important

When machines replace human beings and companies become more efficient, unemployment is automatically created. Planning for enormous industrial growth is the solution. The communist or socialist method of creating employment with useless workers will spell doom on all the private companies and other business entities. The Congress party always used this approach to solve unemployment problem without creating economic and industrial expansion. In 1967-68, Indian 8unemployment was at the highest level, and on top of it wages were extremely low.
