THIS DECISION SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN ON THE DAY ONE OF DECOMMISSIONING. PPL ARE CRAZY & WANTS IT AS A MUSEMUM... BUT ACTUALLY THEY DONOT KNOW THE RUNNING EXPENDITURE PER HOUR ON HARBOUR WILL BE 11.5 LAKHS AN HOUR...... OUR COUNTRY BEING LOOTED BY CONGRESS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS WAS AWARE OF THIS BUT THEY KEPT THIS ALIVE AS THEY WERE MAKING MONEY OUT OF THIS RUNNING EXPENDITURE... ALSO ONE MUST KNOW THIS UNIT WILL OCCUPY A LOT OF SPACE @ DOCKYARD WHICH CAN BE NOW USED FOR LATEST WAR SHIPS.... OF COURSE WE COULD HAVE MAINTAINED IF CONGRESS & SWISS BANK PARTY WOULD NOT HAVE LOOTED US...
As a schoolboy I had boarded The Vikrant with pride & thank her service to our Nation. But there's no place for emotions esp: when its not a living soul. Vikrant should have been scrapped long ago. It was not feasible to dock, manage & maintain her. How many of us would have visited her & paid entrance charges to pay for her maintenance? Its absurd & sparrow brains to even think that Mr. Modi scrapped her bec it belonged to Congress era bec her scrapping was not decided in a day or two but after a long legal battle & a Muslim was given charge to scrap her to humiliate Hindus bec the highest bidder got the contract. We should wish that India possess war ships like US war ships someday.

YEAH just bcos ur name is rajeev u can speak like raul baba for granted
Recently I read in the paper that Mulayam is celebrating his birthday by spending 2 crores. Can we not spend this money on more productive way and preserve these ships and archieves? Sad that political neta in India are considered worth for spending huge money rather than preserving our past naval ship
As a school boy when i boarded the ship when it was berthed in kochi i was filled with awe and pride to think that such a mighty ship belongs to my country.its been 25 yrs since then. The memory is still fresh and now i take pride in sharing its legacy with my children.I salute you INS Vikrant. Jai Hind
