Prime Ministers always got VVIP treatment both in India and abroad. And no one bore any grudges nor labeled MMS as being a habitual liar.
In fact Super PM Sonya also got that privilege during UPA regime which was more concerning.

This is what a Smart Visionary PM is

If India needs to grow it needs resources, electricity thermal power where will it come from Australia so what do we do Buy mines there create jobs for Australians and guarantee our supply. A perfect win - win situation.
You need Nuclear power where can Uranium come from Australia why you need electricity for Make in India factories and homes. If India gets energy just imagine if we are able to link our rivers have irrigation rain water harvesting and provide electricity to our villages what a country we can be. Australia can provide their research in Agriculture Sugarcane, Wheat Bananas and so many things.
I feel ashamed that our earlier PM who considers himself a great economist could not see even this simple opportunity rightfully did Modi say AU will not be in the periphery of our vision but at the centre of our thought.
If you have Australia on our side you provide a counter balance to China for the Indian Ocean which means Chinas trade routes you monitor them.
Kudos Modi and see how smart he is he addressed the gathering there in the parliament in great english how much time and effort he provides for this nation he is a real nationalist and making India move out of these Mamata, Mulayam, Lalu Aloo , Nitish, Biju Patnaik, Amma, Dmk Uncle whose only agenda is talk communalism seperate society these Idiots should be shown the door now when we have the youngest population in the world in 10 years India will change if Modi continues to rule.
Great things happening Man Good.

"I feel ashamed that our earlier PM who considers himself a great economist could not see even this simple opportunity"

You mean Vajpayee?
Because it was MMS who started this whole stuff after nuke deal was signed with US. At that time, Australia took the high horse of nuclear morality, and said will not sell uranium to India. MMS and the whole world knew it was just a matter of time before Aussie come around. And it happened. Even if bhogi adithyanath was the pm it would have happened.

I'm not sure how old you are. But I am old enough to remember MMSs Australia talks. Around that time Modi s party brought a no confidence motion to pull upa down because of the nuke deal.

That nuke deal was with the US... Which hasn't materialized either... :)
And secondly, if we wait for 230 years, a lot of things will get done in India...
No doubt all of them can be attributed to Mangal Pandey or to Vikramaditya... :)

From Austria to Australia ...

Modiji is capturing all imagination. Austrian ambassor
to India, Bernhard Wrabetz, said Prime Minister
arendra Modi has "said all the right things so far",
but time will tell if those things are implemented on
the ground level. The Ambassador was at Meerut's Vidya
Knowledge Park, interacting with the city's students.

A sea of brown hands and faces
by piri on Nov 18, 2014 10:52 PM

in a white land !

If a big group of blacks assemble in this fashion in Delhi for some purpose, the derisive and openly vicious responses of desis - especially middle class north Indians - can be easily anticipated !

That raxcial discrimination against *brownish black filth* (as Indians were termed once by a white supremacist in the UK) does not manifest itself any more than it actually does is a testimony to how effective the rule of law is in Australia!

rock star
by Syz on Nov 18, 2014 10:51 PM  | Hide replies

It is below dignity of a PM of a country to be called a "rock star". What rock music is he playing? Is he an entertainer? When will his Bhaktas (followers) will understand that by calling him "rock star" they are actually degrading the statue of the PM position of our country? I guess they don't have that brain capacity. Or, may be, it is Modi who himself wants to be branded as a "rock star" because he has nothing really substantial to offer except speaking to large audiences?

You do not understand that the the author of the Australian article used the world "rock star" for derogatory purposes, not for praising Modi. You don't have the capacity to differentiate what is praise or what is derogatory.

Dear PM, Please go and tour our Country and see how people are more poor. This tour is worth million times than US and Ausi.

We need to see more actions to be taken than speeches. None of your ministers are in news. They should be more proactive in their dept.

how do you know that ministers are not proactive. yesterday manohar and parrikar broke the protocol and went to enviornment ministry to get some of the files cleared. it was protested by some bureaucrats in defence ministry but his objective was to get the files cleared as early as possible. none of the news channel showed this . only newsx showed for somwtime and they later switched to haryana. dont make blind comments. indians are very good in finding negatives even when some good things are done
