Tell more stories, Mr.Modi!
by Rama Nanjappa on Nov 16, 2014 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

Splendid showing by the PM relating the story of the American architect. It shows his varied interests, wide learning and broad mind. He should go ahead and tell his fellow countrymen some stories of foreigners who worked for us in spirit (not with hidden agendas): Annie Besant, Margaret Noble (Sister Nivedita), Sir John Woodroffe, Ronald Nixon (Krishna Prem), Mira Alfassa (Mother of Pondicherry), Laurie Baker! Neither our govt.dictated textbooks, nor the history books written by the red-dyed historians dominating the academies, nor even the American-aping English media will write about them! The TV channels have not enough time even for the cine stars and starlets, millionaire sportsman, and politicians and criminals hogging the headlines. Who will know or remember these real heroes? Let the PM tell the country!

You envy Modi's success...Continue your efforts, the people of India are sure of his dedication and honesty; When it started it was inflation, economy and communalism...once that is getting sorted, you have come with the cherry picked list of things..keep up the good work...you will never win..

Photo Ops
by Aditya on Nov 15, 2014 04:34 PM  | Hide replies

Lately we have been seeing only Photo ops of our PM shaking hands and smiling everywhere. It reminds me of images used to be shown on DD many years back of our then PM Rajiv Gandhi & his wife dancing with tribal women. Our laughing PM should understand that the people in India are much more advanced now and we really donot care about his story telling abilities or his handshaking record spree. We can really see through this self appreciation and self marketing gimmicks and and our PM should really stop this portrait photo taking and releasing them on twitter business. We have elected him to do a job and I wish our PM should learn the art of talking less and delivering more.

Do you really feel PM Modi is visiting Australia for Photo Ops ? He is there to attend G20 summit and to interact with world leaders. He is representing India as a PM. Handshakes, Hugs, Meetings, Photos, Interviews, Conferences, Negotiations, Press Conferences etc. etc. are all part and purpose of his visit to Australia. When a PM Modi visits any place he attracts and deserves media attention, but he is not demanding it or orchestrating it. As a Indian one should be proud of PM Modis popularity and stature abroad. If a PM Modis' smiling photo flashes across media, it doesn't mean that he is doing that alone all along. He is obviously doing serious business also most of the time.
Secondly, he is well aware of his responsibilities and expectations of every Indian. He has able team to advise him and to execute his decisions. There is no need of people like you to lecture PM of India.
Twitter, Instagram etc. matters a lot in present times and I am proud that our PM is in sync with all that and making good use of it.

You can be proud of everything indeed.

But there is no way to be proud of the fact that the PM is so mortally afraid of questions from journalists that he has not fielded a single open forum question so far in nearly 6 months of his high octane PM ship, can you ?

Why, even the little clown - Rahul Gandhi - non chalantly faced the press so many times!

It is another matter that Mr. Gandhi often made a fool of himself.

Is Mr. Modi afraid that he too will be revealed to be as much a clown as Mr. Gandhi?

Why PM Modi should be afraid of any Journalist ? He has been facing media trials in past as well. Is there any standard as to how many open press conferences PM needs to address ? Throw a question, you will get a answer. Who is afraid ? Journalists, Media and even public raises many questions thru different means and they are answered. But all answers may not be music to your ears. Chill.

Chill what?

Did not understand what I wrote.

Ok, I shall rephrase what I wrote.

In 6 months of being PM, Modi has not taken a single question from journalists or hosted a single press conference. This is an unprecedented display of timidity from a PM.

Did you understand now?

And, oh, please run to any source you can find and verify whether what I have written is the truth.

why should he face journalists, these communal and opporltunistic hacks's only commission was to run modi down. These hacks never had ethics or courage. They never went after communal fatwa wallahs as they were dead scared of being thrashed. Modi's strategem is correct. No need to interact with these anti-national opportunistic hacks. Amitabh also did the same thing and zoomed to the heights.

Modiji is giving a warm hug to the Australian PM, and there in his presence they are showing Kashmir separate from India and then merely apologising. Modiji should have walked out when he saw this nonsense, but he like MMS continued to allow himself and India to be humiliated. After some days the other leaders will understand he only barks and then make a fool of him
